Snow Tubing at Bricktown

M-Pact Baseball took over the Bricktown Ball Park for a fun night of snow tubing last week. A great time was had by all who could make it. We missed everyone who could not attend due to basketball, sickness, or other conflicts.

Let Your Light Shine

We all have seen that player that is a superstar in sports. Their star just seems to shine brighter than others. When we sign our player up for sports, we all secretly hope our kid shines. As parents we want to see our kids succeed. It’s only natural.

So, what does it take to shine?

The earthly way of thinking is the best are the only ones that shine. The apostle Paul tells us how we can shine.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:2

When we focus our efforts on the bigger picture and doing what’s right, we are showing how great God’s glory is and we shine as a reflection of him. One great thing I love about teaching our youth in sports is we get to walk them through how to deal with failure and disappointments.

As adults, we must know how to deal with these things to navigate this world! If you are like me, you feel like you are constantly dealing with things out of our control, and it can feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But, lets see what Jesus says in John 8:12;

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

We all go through those in the darkness, in the shadow’s moments. Our kids will, without a doubt, experience those dark moments too. If you think about darkness and shadows, there needs to be light. If we turn towards the light, the darkness is BEHIND us! I encourage you to fix your heart on things above and let your light shine to all those.

“There are two ways of spreading light, hold the candle or be the mirror that reflects it.”

Winter Camps

Jason Conley, M-Pact Director, has spent years building a program to teach the catching position in a way your player can relate to and create a desire to become a "Strike Collector"

Catching is under-taught in youth sports but is one of the most important positions on the field. This camp will give your player tools to play the position with a better understanding and equip them with tools they can take with them to continue their growth and passion for being a field leader.
