The Dinner Table is Undefeated!
When we first released the Parent Handbook, one of the most impactful chapters (pardon the pun) was about the car ride home. Truth is, more youth sports careers probably end in the car than on the field. We learned this the hard way. But that lesson changed our internal culture—and helped many families turn a stressful moment into something transformational.
Over the years, we’ve realized there’s another family moment that can shape a player’s development just as much: we call it “The Dinner Table.”
What gets said around the dinner table—especially about the team—starts to shape how young players feel. Casual negative comments can change a player’s outlook. Before you know it, that vibe can carry into the dugout and start to erode the culture.
We could write a whole blog on this (and maybe will), but here’s another way to look at it:
As sports parents, we rarely sit down to eat together. And if we do, it’s either at 4:30 or 9:30 PM. But there’s power in that shared moment. Connecting as a family over a meal can build something lasting. It’s not about the food—it’s about the fellowship.
In the Gospels, Jesus shared meals with individuals and groups on at least 14 documented occasions. These meals weren’t just about food—they symbolized acceptance, community, and communion. The early church in Acts paints a beautiful picture of this:
Acts 2:46
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.
At M-Pact, our mission has always been to use the game to teach life lessons—and build a community of people who want to grow better people on and off the field.
So here’s the question:
👉 What impact can we have on our kids by making the “Dinner Table” our daily masterpiece?
It doesn’t need to be a gourmet meal—sometimes it’s burgers in the car after practice. What matters is the moment. Make it one you all value.
And then let’s zoom out…
👉 What impact could we have on our community if we shared the “Dinner Table” more often?
In some faith traditions, the Lord’s Supper is a weekly practice—not only as a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice, but also as a time to gather and share.
There’s power in the “Dinner Table”. Let’s make it our masterpiece.

High School Playoffs
We have kids on rosters all over the state that have been a big part of M-Pact from day one. We never purposefully tried to get all our players to go to the same school. Part of the beauty of High School is seeing M-Pact teammates compete against one another. Iron Sharpens Iron! We have seen some great moments from this.
Next week begin High School baseball playoffs in Oklahoma! Do your young player a favor and go catch some great baseball from the boys that set the stage for the next generation.

Win Back Youth Sports
The games are changing dramatically and fast. The experience kids get now in youth sports versus what most of us experienced are not even close. Part of what makes M-Pact special is our goal to help kids, not our own ego. Being mission driven will always be our focus. We want to help players, parents, and coaches enjoy this journey!
We know and feel this shouldn't be limited to just M-Pact. We want people to see our example and prevent more kids from dropping out of sports or treating it like it's all a business. We have began to share some of our philosophies on our social media pages. So far we are getting feedback from people saying they want more.
Please go follow us on all our social media outlets and share content.
M-Pact Facility Improvement
We have hoping to raise some extra funds to improve the fields this year. We need to replace the backstop nets. We have some money allocated but cost have risen and we need more. If you would like to donate or know a business that would, please let us know. We can feature the business on our social media post as well if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
